Post 6 - Photo Essay

Maimonides Medical Center is the place i've been volunteered, and enjoyed working there.
I've learned so much things about the life inside the Hospital,and Medicine. by building my "Human Capital"

This is my small office or department where i just sat back in my free time by hanging out with my co-workers.

This is in the (left) is my Mentor and in the (Right ) is  my respected co-worker, and i learned lots of things from both of them.  

To be honest. This is the worst thing i hated to do is to collect these  heavy beds called stretchers, and  to make sure that they're available for use in ER. 

My favorite part is to take a patients from their rooms on this wheelchair to the main entrance or the Lobby. 

Most of the time i like to just walk by Surgical Intensive Care Unit, because i liked to see how the doctor and nurses were taking care of the patients, and to see the big special computers front of them. 

This is the elevators that sometime i liked them, because it was pleasure for me to see a different types of Doctors, and sometimes i hated these elevators is because the half of my day i had to spent by waiting for them.

This is a hand sanitation dispenser. The purpose of that is to sanitize you and others before, and after you'll touch the patients, and to keep everyone safe from the bacterias and viruses. It was a general law in the hospital, and i liked to follow this rule.

Inspiration of the 2nd floor.This floor was my favorite floors in the building. There reason i liked this floor is because it was shining and always clean compare to other floors, and it was one my reasons why i was walked in there a lot.

Post 5 - New Vocabulary

• Definition: Is a expert who give advice's to people.

• Definiton: Is a proper thing to do.

• Sample Sentence: Students in our school always dress appropriately compare to other schools.

• Definiton: Reflection of person's behavior.

• Sample Sentence : Most of the teenagers have worst attitudes to a teachers. 

Co-worker - sotrudnik.

• Definition: Is a worker or associate that work with.

• Sample Sentence: My co workers in my department are so friendly to me and to others. Also i'm always asking them a questions in certain situation when i don't understand in the hospital.

Duty - obyazannostʹ

• Definition: It's a responsibility that every worker or person has.

• Sample Sentence: My mentor's job duty in the department is to watch employee's and to keep the department organize.

Employee - Rabotnik.

• Definition: A person who's employed for a business.

• Sample Sentence: The every single employee in the hospital are satisfied with their salaries.

Employer - rabotodatelʹ.

• Definition: A person who hires the employee or a workers.

• Sample Sentence: Since i have began my internship, i've seen a horrible employees who can't get a long with their employees.

Flexible - gibkiĭ.

• Definition: Capable of bending easily without breaking.

• Sample Sentence: I barely got my flexible hours by changing them for many times.

Initiative - initsiativa.

• Definition: Responsible decision.

• Sample Sentence: We were looking for a initiative job during the summer breaks.

Qualifications - uslovie.

• Definition: A quality that makes a person suitable for a particular task.

• Sample Sentence: My mentor is a busy man, and he also has busy qualifications to employees.

Recommendation - Soveti.

• Definition: Something that recommended by someone.

• Sample Sentence: My teacher is always gives a best recommendations in school.

Reference - ukazanie.

• Definition: To mention something.

• Sample Sentence: Reference in resume's are required upon request.

Salary - zarplata.

• Definition: It'a a payment that every employee gets.

• Sample Sentence: Salary is a important thing to look for the every job you apply for.

Task - Zadanie.

• Definition: Piece of work that is need to be done.

• Sample Sentence: In school we always get tasks after we enter the class.

• Definition: Daily or weekly payment that employee receive.

Post 3 - Vocabulary

1. Word / Phrase: Rotation
Meaning: The process of turning around an axis.
Context: I heard a college students were talking about the rotation process.




2. Word / Phrase: Triage
Meaning: A process for sorting injured people into groups based on their need for or likely benefit from immediate medical treatment
Context: My mentor told me to go to Triage a pick up some documents


3. Word / Phrase: Neurology
Meaning: The branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, functions, and organic disorders of nerves and the nervous system.
Context: When i got in the elevator i saw this word on the doctor's badge.


4. Word / Phrase: Clerk
Meaning: a person employed, as in an office, to keep records, and file.
Context: When i was in emergency room, i heard people saying something about Clerk's, so i asked them about it.


5. Word / Phrase: Escort
Meaning: A special service provided by volunteers to accompany patients who needs help
Context: I'm escort, and i'm the one who helps to move, and discharge patients.
